Oscar Soto Lozano was born in Monterrey México in 1973 and graduated from Architecture from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.

His work begins with the study and research of global context and the result is an abstract deconstruction of landscapes, primary focused on technology and the constant need of cities systematization.  The meticulous experimentation of color, lines and light is always present in his work. Color lines collides and create complex forms, sequences and geometric variations that generates chromatic spectrums which like architectural deconstruction wants to create a visual or emotional impact.

His work have been presented on Exhibitions, Biennales and International Art Fairs in Dubai, Singapore, Seoul, Hong Kong, Paris, Malcha, New York, Mexico City, Bogota and Monterrey. In 2006 he won the FONECA Creators Grant. In 2007 is selected to present his work in Bogota at the Siart International Art Biennale.
